Well here they are trooping off the painting table.
These are all JC recasts and are rather nice
The Trumpeter was converted from a single casting Carabinier with a plastic trumpet and hand glued on from a Zvezda SYW Prussian Hussar. I used my dremel to remove the carbine and other equipment.

Those are stunning Mark!
What a fine looking unit! The sky-blue and red go so well together. I like the way you do the sheepskin saddle covers as well.
Outstanding!
Best regards

Wow! They were looking good part-done, now they look superb!
Yes, super stuff. May I suggest fir trumpets using the arm from a french light infantry figure from say Newline?
Three words... a may zing !
Gorgeous
Splendid sir... one of my favourite French cavalry units.
All the best. Aly
Lovely Mark, well done. One of my most favourite? regiments, you've done a cracking job.
Gorgeous - I think they look even better going rather than coming - an ideal viewpoint as you'll be the one commanding them. I do get frustrated with only seeing all the backpacks of my infantry while my opponent gets to see their best side - after all I put in the work to paint them.
Still curious why you don't paint the horses eyes
Thank you all for your kind comments.
LG - I will have to look at using Newline as yoy suggest.
Rob - I will think about eyes on horses. Perhaps a little black line on the lighter horses to denote the eye.
